The good news is there are a lot of fish around and hopefully tomorrow they will bite like they should. The weather for tomorrow looks good, so we will see you in the morning.
Today was a different story, we were able to bang away at the fish until mid day when we lost the tide. Most of the fish were caught on bait until later in the day when we wre able to jig a few.
The weather should be clearing for tomorrow and I have seen and caught BLUEFISH in our river this week and there are reports from commerical boats that there are BLUES in the ocean. We are sailing tomorrow and we will be in search of STRIPERS BLUES.
Tough fishing today, I don't know why we had plenty of fish readings and bait but they just didn't want to bite. We covered a lot of ocean today, trying inshore, offshore, north, south, etc but it was the same everywhere.
The BLUES were in the 6 to 10lb range and all the fish were caught on Run Off Croc's and Hammer jigs. It seemed like the Croc's had a slight edge over the Hammer jigs today.
